Unlike a standard fabric surf hat, Surf Halo Protect includes a lightweight protective insert underneath the hat, adding a hard layer between your head and everyday bumps or accidental contact. Surf Halo Protect is not a certified watersports helmet and should not replace one where helmet-level protection is required. Its protective insert is CE certified to EN812, the European standard for industrial bump caps.
